Grundfos supplies pumping solutions for seawater intake. Depending on the flow requirements, salt content, and whether the seawater intake is offshore or onshore, pumps are available for both dry and submerged installation that matches the corrosion risk. Seawater is then pumped for desalination at reverse osmosis plants, for which Grundfos also supplies corrosion-resistant pumping solutions.
