”Divine water” is the headline of a portrait of General Manger, Ranganath N. Krishna, Grundfos India.
The article is one of a series of portraits of Indian top business managers in the October issue of Business India, the oldest magazine in India for business people and one of the most highly respected magazines in the country.
”Water will become more expensive than petrol,” and ”we can live without petrol when absolutely necessary but we cannot live without water” are two of the most conspicuous messages from Mr Krishna. After a thorough survey of his career he gets the opportunity to argue in favour of the use of Grundfos’ energy-efficient pumps, which are not among the cheapest in the market: ”We can offer a payback time of less than 15 months and often under one year. Tests of our customers’ behaviour show that they are getting more and more willing to pay for quality,” Mr Krishna said.
