Grundfos hosts seminar for Turkish Contractors

Grundfos Gulf gave Turkish engineers and contactors from across the Middle East the opportunity for 1-to-1 discussions on the challenges they face when choosing and using pump systems, at a special 1-day seminar in Dubai, on 14th December.

The representatives, from Turkish contracting companies operating within Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE and Turkey, were specially invited to the seminar, which focused on the latest iSolutions and the importance of pumps in the design of high performance buildings. Grundfos technical experts were on hand throughout to discuss individual challenges and provide solutions based on real life examples.

The event started on the evening before with a special welcome dinner hosted by Grundfos at Dubai’s Four Seasons Hotel, where guests were able to network with fellow contracting companies and get to know the Grundfos team.

The seminar itself was centred around a discussion on the latest trends and developments in pump technology, with special emphasis on the new generation of Grundfos intelligent pumping systems which combine pumps, drives, controls and protection with communication units and sensors to create a holistic pumping solution that can communicate and adapt to precisely meet system demands.

Amongst other specific topics discussed were District Cooling systems and the benefits of Grundfos pressurisation and separation technology in freeing system fluids from air and debris, and how to use Grundfos Business Information Modelling (BIM) and other specifier tools to simplify design and specification of modern pumping solutions.

Following the formal presentations at The Grundfos Villa on Jumeirah Golf Estates, guests were transported to Jebel Ali for a conducted tour of Grundfos’ facility, where they were able to follow the development of pump manufacturing in Grundfos unique interactive showroom, Studio Miyah, before taking a conducted tour of the company’s advance production and assembly facilities.
