Grundfos joins force with successful Danish companies at the World Future Energy Summit 2016 in Abu Dhabi

Many Danish companies have been very successful in developing and promoting sustainable and energy efficient technologies, and Denmark is in the forefront within use and export of such technologies. This is a result of very early, strict environmental regulations in Denmark, which have forced companies to be highly innovative and to develop advanced and efficient equipment, and master the knowhow of all relevant processes. The Royal Danish Consulate General in Dubai and the Danish sustainable Act NOW have established a strong corporation with a vision to enhance and promote Danish best practice in the fields of energy efficiency, energy savings and sustainability in the UAE.

With member companies in the sector of sustainable energy, Act NOW is used by decision makers globally when seeking new solutions to environmental challenges. They deliver knowledge and expertise and focus on sustainable solutions to the environmental challenges facing us today.

The Royal Danish Consulate in General in Dubai has an exhaustive
knowledge and expertise of the fast growing market in the UAE. The alliance
between the Royal Danish Consulate General in UAE and Act NOW thus creates
gateways and open up for new business opportunities for Act NOW’s member in the UAE which are: Grundfos Gulf Distribution FTZ, Alfred Priess, Babcock &
Wilcox Volund, CEBRA Architecture, Green Tech Center, Danish Export Association, HeSalight.  Transform Rootzone.

The purpose for Grundfos to participate in Act NOW is to present pumps as part of the solution to meeting the energy challenge today. Unknown to many, pumps account for as much as 10% of the world’s total electricity consumption. Much of this is unnecessarily wasted and being one of the largest pump manufactures in the world, Grundfos believes that the industry must lead the change in the fight against rising CO2 emissions by bringing efficient solutions to the market.

Grundfos Gulf Distribution is deeply involved in local activities that support future changes of standards and legal requirements related to broad usage of sustainable pumping solution in buildings and within municipal infrastructure. Promoting intelligent, energy efficient and sustainable solutions is the continuous effort for Grundfos in Middle East and especially in UAE.

Participation and involvement in events, seminars, conferences, presentations help in solving individual challenges and installing Grundfos systems in new developments. Grundfos Gulf Distribution positions itself as Energy optimization leader for the area within the pump industry.
